How does this even make sense? Not the cyber sex part. The part about being “mostly gay as a transguy” but being “as straight as can be” if you were to have a penis.

I mean, maybe someone else can make sense of this?

Two possibilities: 1) I know people whose sexual orientation isn’t based on who they’re attracted to, but a specific orientation - e.g. people who are firmly straight or gay, regardless of their gender identity and/or body type. So for example a straight girl, given a hypothetical situation in which she were male, would be a straight guy, and vice versa, because she’s unable to imagine being in a gay relationship of any sort. (I think I’ve also known lesbians who find it easier to imagine themselves as gay men rather than straight-anything). 2) as a gay trans guy, I’ve considered the possibility that some part of my attraction to guys is the result of jealousy and wanting to look like them, and/or where being in a relationship with a cis guy would allow me to live through him in some way and make up for the parts of myself that I lack. I noticed a change in my attraction since being on T - it’s much less desperate, while in the meantime female bodies have started to seem interestingly different from mine despite having zero interest in them in the past. Such that in a hypothetical situation presented by the OP in which I had a “full length cock”, cis male genitals might cease to attract me in the same way if I already have one of my own, and I might become straight. (more likely bisexual, though.)
